{"id":165,"date":"2025-01-15T16:25:58","date_gmt":"2025-01-15T16:25:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gammadelta.pl\/?p=165"},"modified":"2025-01-20T21:12:13","modified_gmt":"2025-01-20T21:12:13","slug":"new-publication-gd-t-cells-significantly-impacted-by-cll-burden","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gammadelta.pl\/index.php\/2025\/01\/15\/new-publication-gd-t-cells-significantly-impacted-by-cll-burden\/","title":{"rendered":"New Publication: \u03b3\u03b4 T Cells Significantly Impacted by CLL Burden"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are pleased to announce the publication of our latest research article in the journal <em>Cancers<\/em>, titled <em>&#8220;\u03b3\u03b4 T Cells Are Significantly Impacted by CLL Burden but Only Mildly Influenced by M-MDSCs.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this study, we investigated the impact of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) on \u03b3\u03b4 T cells and hypothesized that monocytic myeloid-derived suppressor cells (M-MDSCs) might drive these changes. However, our in vitro experiments demonstrated that while \u03b3\u03b4 T cells are markedly influenced by the overall CLL burden, the direct impact of M-MDSCs is minimal and does not fully explain the observed alterations in \u03b3\u03b4 T cells in CLL patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These findings provide new insights into the tumor microenvironment of CLL and raise further questions about the mechanisms affecting \u03b3\u03b4 T cell function.
